In order to properly figure what size fireplace insert you need, please answer these 6 questions.

1.  Opening width (of opening in brick facing of fireplace.)

2.  Opening height (of opening in brick facing of fireplace.)

3.  Rear wall width (of vertical surface.)

4.  Rear wall height (of vertical surface.)

5.  Depth at the floor (from the fireplace facing surface to the vertical back wall.)

6.  Depth at top of opening (Hold a yardstick, or broomstick, HORIZONTALLY, up under the middle of the top of the opening, and slide it in until it contacts the sloping rear wall. Measure that distance.)
